2027 NASARAWA GOVERNORSHIP: SDP REAFFIRMS DANLAMI MUSA MOHAMMED AS ITS DULY ELECTED GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE
Social Democratic Party (SDP) categorically reaffirms Hon. Danlami Musa Mohammed as its duly elected gubernatorial candidate for Nasarawa State in the 2027 General Elections, following the party's primary election conducted on 23 May 2026.
SDP is aware of reports concerning a purported substitution process and wishes to state unequivocally that no political gathering or purported “substitution primary” can override a duly conducted party primary outside the provisions of the SDP Constitution and applicable electoral laws.
The party urges its members, supporters and the public to remain calm and disregard any contrary claims until determined through the appropriate lawful process.
SDP stands firmly by its mandate. The will of the delegates cannot be replaced by political manoeuvring.
